HISTORY

The law firm was founded in 1964 by Eckart Müller-Heydenreich, who, after six years as mayor of the state capital Munich 1972-1978, developed it into an insolvency administrator law firm.

Since 1985, Rechtsanwältin Barbara Beutler has been a name partner in the law firm. Mr Müller-Heydenreich and Ms Beutler left the law firm at the end of 2006 and 2011 respectively, but still act as consultants.

Since October 2013, the name of the law firm has been changed to Müller-Heydenreich Bierbach & Kollegen. Continuity on the one hand, and successful generation change on the other hand have thereby been preserved in the name. The new name partner, Rechtsanwalt and insolvency administrator Axel W. Bierbach, has been a partner since 1999 and represents, with the other partners, the second generation of lawyers and insolvency administrators.

The partners Thomas E. Funk, Christian Beutler, Oliver Schartl und Dr. Stefan Debus joined the law firm between 1994 and 2001.
